Week one Feb. update

Hey Gang
I have made test casts of all of the miniatures that are completed. For the past 3 weeks, I have been tweaking the sculpts so that the feature detail is much cleaner than it was on the test sculpts. Now that most of that is done for the pieces that are finished, I will be finishing up the last 5 sculpts and getting the Backerkit updated with more pictures this week. Thanks for your extreme patience on this project.

Still working hard. :-) It has been tough to get the uninterrupted blocks of time to just work on sculpting things. Such is the plight of being a small business.
Here is the WIP for Bather #2 I should have another mini finished by tomorrow, since I am close on the other 2 slaves. The third bather has not really been "locked in" so to speak. I have a pose that is set up to be partially submerged in water (she looks like she is getting out of a shallow waist deep pool). I am not sure if I like that as an idea. If you have suggestions about the third piece, I am all ears. If people are ok with the partially submerged piece I will work to finish that up.

Hey Gang
Sharing the Work In Progress of the Attendant. This piece is one of the ones that has given me a hard time coming up with a pose that I like. This is about the 6th version that I have done of this piece over the last 6 mos, and I am finally happy with the pose. I kept trying to make her in a pose that looked like she was washing the Sultana's feet, and it just did not ever look right to me. I hope you all enjoy this version of it. There is still a lot of tidying up to do on her, but I think you get the picture. ;-)

Just a quick heads up, but I am still closing in on the last few sculpts. the holidays took waaaaaay more energry than they should have. In the meantime, I have started the test print and test casting. It is during this period that we determine what details are not good enough on the sculpt, and have to be "punched in" a bit more. With that I give youthe WIP of the Fire breather, adn 5 test casts of existing pieces. The Snake Charmer's snake needs the scale detail punched in a bit more, so if you were going to say that, I beat you to it! :-)

Slave 1 WIP

I have decided to go a slightly different route with the male slaves. I was originally going to have them adorned with bits of clothing and such, but I think they just look much better simpler. What do you guys and gals think? Here is a WIP of one of the slaves, and I like how it looks, but in the spirit of letting you all have a say in the development of this project let me know what you think! :-)
