A'Noos

Kinda of a slow week of progress on this Kickstarter.  I will get a lot more done this weekend gang, I promise.  Just very time consuming sculpting little braclets and bangles.  Anyway, hope you guys like the WIP for A'Noos the Crystal Juggler,  she should be a real joy to cast (insert sarcasm there).   :-)

Just a work in progress shot to help whet the appetites.  Still needs a lot of work, but I am headed in the right direction I think!

Probable Delay.

OK gang.  My optimism has been dashed a bit.  I was really thinking I could knock these sculpts right out of the park as soon as I was done working at the restaurant.  I am still making great progress, but it is looking more and more like I will not be able to start Fulfilling this KS until November.   I know that is a month late, and I sincerely apologize.  This is one of the burdens of a run away success that you all created for us.  Originally I had assumed we would do around $6,000.00 and as many of you know, we were taking on suggestions and new sculpts left and right.   All of them are amazing ideas and fun sculpts, but I want to do them right.  I could have rushed and just made a bunch of naked women for you, but I dont think that the Sultana would approve, and I dont think you would either.  :-)   To that end I hope you all understand and can continue being patient with us.   If any of you have any more serious concerns, please feel free to start a dialog with me either privately or on the message section.  I am more than happy to answer any questions and try to help mitigate any fears that you might have about your investment in this really awesome project that we are stoked about.

As always i love each of you, and thank you for your support and continued understanding!

John

P.S.  I am almost wrapped on the Crystal Juggler, and she is turning out pretty darn cool.  One of the most ambitious poses I have seen in miniatures, let alone sculpted.   Look for her either later tonight or early tomorrow.  Depends on if I can get the flow going this evening.

A Few Updates today.

I have a few more WIPs that will be added to the Pre-order later today.  As always feel free to comment and input on things.  I have really tried my best to make this project be collaborative with all of you, and so far it has worked out really well in my opinion!  :-)

Pubic Hair and bases??!!!???!
over 6 years ago – Fri, Sep 29, 2017 at 09:21:41 PM

Hello all, and I hope to find you all in good spirits.  We are getting sculpts in order and a couple of practical concerns have some up.  Many of the sculpts that I have done work well with what are called tabbed bases.  These minis are glued into a separate plastic base by the backer.   There are a bunch of the pieces that will just not work well with this style of basing.  I am trying to guage peoples feelings regarding just making all of the minaitures have what are called integrated bases.  This means that there will not be separate plastic bases provided, and the miniatures will all stand in the proper position on their own.  I would like some feedback from you all before I make a decision, as splitting the models up seems kinda silly to me, i.e. some with plastic bases and some without.

Pubic Hair: Love it? leave it?  As I am sculpting these miniatures I have noticed that by default I tend to not have pubic hair on them.  The Lounging Hetaira has pubic hair, since Dom drew her that way, but most of the rest do not.  Should I mix that up a little bit? or just do whatever I feel like??   Some feed back from you all will help me better give you what you want out of the project!!  :-)

Love,

John
